Welcome
Entering into therapy is an important decision, and finding the right therapist is essential to a successful experience. I believe that every person is deserving of compassion and honor, and is capable of living a rich and satisfying life. Each client is unique and very important to me, and together we will create an approach that works best for you.  In our sessions, I focus on empowering emotional, physical, mental, social, and spiritual well being. Central to my work with clients is collaboration. I believe that we can do our best work together when we come to a shared understanding of your specific challenges and find helpful ways to work on them. In this process we will discuss fully what brought you into see me, explore your history and background, talk about your current life situation, identify your values and resources, and work with anything else that will help you accomplish your therapy goals. I recognize the important role that faith and spirituality can play in overall wellness, and am honored to integrate these elements into the psychotherapy process when desired by clients.

My Background
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Colorado Christian University. I take an integrative strengths-based approach to counseling, incorporating psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and experiential therapeutic approaches. I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I have specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders as well as experiential and psychodrama techniques for use with groups or individual clients.
